Come join this floral watercolor painting class where I teach you how to paint a floral from a lovely flower bouquet. This will take place on Friday June 2nd 5pm-7pm at 633 Arnold Ave, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742

Learn how to use watercolor to create your own beautifully painted floral. In this workshop you will learn how to use various watercolor techniques to create an abstract watercolor painting from a real fresh floral bouquet still life. This class is for both beginners to intermediate students. This workshop will provide all supplies including watercolors, brushes, and paper. This will be a fun class to relax, meet friends and learn a new skill. It’s also BYOB if you want to bring along some refreshments.

Skills learning:

*Compostion/Thumbnailing (laying out your design)

*Color palette

*Mixing colors. Getting a grasp on the paint how to add more water and make gradients of one color.

*Wet on Wet technique

*Various brush sizes/to create different lines and shapes

*Learning the balance to keep some areas abstract and some more detailed.
